The best thing since the invention of movable type in 1040AD in China was… wanna take a guess? Why, 3D movable type, of course. It happened in 1981AD, in Japan. (Hmm, isn’t it curious about that geographical proximity…)
Fast forward to 2015, to a little company named Fictiv in the San Francisco Bay Area. Fictiv is, at its core, a global network of managed partners for sourcing custom part manufacturing using 3D printing. And it ain’t so little anymore.
From 2015 to 2016, Birgitte wrote many of Fictiv’s hardware spotlights and teardowns. She interviewed a dizzying range of companies: air quality sensors and solar, loudspeakers and VR, coffee grinders and kids’ toys, and yes, even NASA (it wouldn’t be the first time for Birgitte and NASA).
There’s no better way to discover the incredible pool of talent and innovation that lurks all around you than to write for a company like Fictiv.
