Central America Today was the first English-language business publication about Central America targeted to the international community. Focusing on business, trade, investment, and tourism, the magazine published bi-monthly until early 2009.
Looking for a bilingual team with experience in business English and journalism, the magazine hired us to help them edit their debut issue—and then kept us on to the very end. It hung on till Q1 2009, and finally succumbed to the 2007-2008 global financial meltdown.
It was a good run, as they say in the biz… we edited the articles, advised their editorial and writing staff as they refined the focus and direction of their stories, and we were instrumental in the introduction of stories about CSR and sustainability in the magazine’s editorial line-up.
Pictured are two of the issues we edited.
