W3 Awards
In 2008, LUCITÀ was honored by the International Academy of the Visual Arts in Los Angeles, California,
with a 2008 W3 Award for Best Visual Appeal for its work on the Mayan Calendar Portal web site.
The W3 Awards honors creative excellence on the web and recognizes the creative
and marketing professionals behind award-winning sites, marketing programs, and
video created for the web. The W3 is the first major web competition equally accessible
to all creative services firms, from small businesses to Fortune 500 agencies.
The competition is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts,
an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media,
advertising, and marketing firms, and sponsored by AdvertisingAge, the W3 Awards media partner.

In 2004, we were honored with the 2004-2005 Design Firms Web Design Award for the design and functionality of
one of the earlier versions of the LUCITA web site, designed and built inhouse. This earlier site design received
a score of 95 out of a possible 99 points for creativity & design, programming and compatibility, and ease of use.
